Scholarships
Big 5 Search supporting important charitable efforts for women's futures.
As part of a new initiative to support further education on the Continent, Big 5 Search is funding annual scholarships. The first of these in 2024 is a collaboration with registered charity Stand.
In this programme Big 5 has fully funded four amputee women to gain professional training as prosthetic and orthotic technicians.
This training will provide a vital platform for these women to gain the skills that will enable them to be successful in long term employment, whilst also supporting a variety of people who are in a similar situation.
Big 5 Search is committed to further support disabled people on the Continent to live full lives and is exploring opportunities of collaborating with Stand to provide assistance via training and microfinance for disabled entrepreneurs.
